Book Review: Solid mediocre
Summary: 3 Stars
Has useful stuff but misses important stuff, for instance: it says that someone can have a profile of subscriber [easily discerned from wordpress documentation] who can only read, but doesn't tell how to make that real. Everyone can read unless something is done to restrict site, so what did he tell us? Worthwhile book only because so little else exists.Book Review: Dr. Gwen reviews WordPress2

I am learning as I go along. This resource is easy to read, the instructions are clear, and the content is appropriate for almost anyone having a basic knowledge of computers. I also appreciate the many references to setting up, using, and managing blogs. The author's use of graphics makes this resource a "piece-of-cake" to read, impliment, and use.Book Review: Clear and Easy to Follow (especially with the Pictures)

I found the book clear and very easy to follow. The pictures might be a bit bigger. But compared to WordPress for dummies, which focuses less on WordPress on your own server, I found WordPress 2 great. I can follow what is going on and what to do. That is what I sought. It makes everything (or almost everything) quite understandable.

For a technical manual on a subject not familure to me the book was well written, constantly giving sources of other good information. This was the first time I had used the WordPress GNU software, and the book was an excellent tool to have by my side.Book Review: Jump start on WordPress
