Book Reviews of World of Warcraft: Official Strategy Guide (Bradygames)Book Review: Don't BUY Summary: 1 StarsThis guide is very outdated and the information is worthless. Save you money and spend it one something else.

Book Review: Nothing to see here folks, move along Summary: 3 StarsKeep in mind that all the information in this book is currently available online, and as the game (slowly) evolves, the strat guide is getting more and more out of date. The publisher allows you to download updates, but even those are out-dated. That's just the nature of the beast, I guess.
This is a good book to keep handy by your computer, when you don't feel like pulling up a browser. It has good coverage of maps, zone levels, professions, and all that sorts of stuff.
This would be a good book for someone who is utterly new to WoW, the person who is overwhelmed when they first log on. Someone trying to decide on class/race/professions, or someone who's not familiar with the "other" side.
I don't really regret buying this book, but when I'm really strapped for solving quests or discovering if that new zone is too high for me, I go to thottbot first.
Book Review: Great book but it fell apart after 6 months Summary: 4 StarsI don't usually buy guides to games but I really needed the maps in this book. One look at it and I had to have it. And it has been a great resource. The only problem was that the constant use wore it out fast. I would appreciate a bit better quality in the paper and binding. But the people who published it maybe thought it would be read and put aside, not used hours a day for months.
Book Review: Good info for the WoW gamer Summary: 4 StarsYou know you love WoW and any help is going to make progression easier. I like the quality and material in the guide. It has a ton of info and is well written and put together. It probably could be updated now as there is so much new content in wow. You can go online and get some updates to it which to be honest I have yet to do.
It breaks down areas, skills, professions and it is a good read.
