Book Review: Losing weight with humor!
Summary: 5 Stars

Your Fat is a book worth the read. Jay Co is informative, helpful and funny! This book is for people of all shapes and sizes, whether it's to lose weight or gain more knowledge about how the body works in lamens terms. I liked that it's based on suggestions, not rules. I've found 'rules' have created anxiety and judgement that I'm not doing what I 'should'. This book gives me motivation to want to try the suggestions just to see what happens. It's helping me figure out what's works specifically for me because my body is, in fact, unique.

I also enjoyed the witty humor. Seeing in print the things I have thought or done, but have never admitted, actually made me laugh at myself. Again, taking the pressure off. And I was constantly reminded to forgive myself when I 'fall off the wagon'. I'm learning the importance of TRUSTING myself rather than punishing myself. The most exciting part...learning I can still induldge every once in a while. I always knew I could have my fave foods 'in moderation' but indulgence without guilt, that's a real treat! This is a book I will definitely be going back to when I need reminders or just plain motivation. Many thanks to Jay Co for taking the time to write Your Fat for the benefit of others.
